The Garda ice cream parlor is an institution in Freising. The ice cream is the best in Freising, and the constantly changing flavors are excellent. And the conditions are always friendly and fun.

The weather was fantastic 3 weeks ago for February. The first ice cream outdoors was good for that. We found free places and were served quickly. Each of the four of us was satisfied. The sun felt good and the atmosphere just stayed there. The Garda is highly recommended.

I am an enthusiastic customer for years. Everything OK in the summer months Since the beginning of October only the "winter card" with less choice. No problem. But now unfriendly staff. Already worse. Then another sundae, which has nothing in common with the photos in the map. For 6,60 !!! That was not even a children's cup. A pity, so you lose customers.

Total rip off. 21 euros for two small coffees and cake. And if you ask for some water to wash down your coffee, you'll be charged 2.50 for a small glass. Coffee also tasted like diesel mixed with dirt. Avoid. Much better coffee places within a short walking distance

The ice cream parlor is nice and the price / performance ratio is completely okay. The ice cream menu is sufficient and in my opinion the best ice cream in Freising! Every trip to the Freising city center has to stop here !! Unfortunately, especially on hot days, it is so full that there are no more tables available and you have to wait a few moments, but that's the way it is at popular ice cream parlors. Absolute recommendation !!

I love this place. It is my favourite ice cream place in Freising. They have lovely flavours of ice cream including my husband's favourite Melon flavour. And I should mention they also offer several fruity Vegan ice creams.

This is one of the most well reviewed and highly recommended gelateria in Freising. But it completely let me down. The Gelato wasn't of the best quality, the flavors used didn't seem completely natural and the establishment just seemed very commercial. If you really love your Gelato, give this place a miss. But if you just want to embrace summer with a Gelato, go ahead and have one.

This place is absolutly charming. it's right in the middle of freising so it's really central and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed no matter how many people are in the cafe. you can really have a nice time here. It's also worth mentioning that ALL their fruit ice cremes are VEGAN :) small tip: try their 'SAHNE capuccino'! it's so delicious. you won't be disappointed. for me, it's one of the bset capuccinos i've tried in my life yet. only negative point is that their service isn't that great. the employees don't exactly try to be nice until it's time to pay and they see you giving them tipps :( always. i would know since i frequent the shop regularly that's why i've deducted a star.
